The Ontario Disc Sports Association is now accepting hosting proposals for the 2027 Ontario Provincial Disc Golf Championships. Clubs, tournament directors and organizing teams interested in bringing Ontario’s premier provincial championship to their community are invited to complete the application below before September 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST. Following the application period, selected finalists will be contacted by the ODSA to discuss the details of their bid, proposed venues, event plan and overall hosting vision in greater depth.
As the Provincial Championship hosting team, you will receive:
- $3,000 in Ontario Tour funding from the ODSA
- An Elevated Ace Hole base, course signage and prizing
- Access to all Ontario Tour OB boards, mandatory and drop-zone markers
- Tour-branded marking flags
- Tour-branded feather flags
- Support from the ODSA for promotion and fundraising across our communication platforms
- A digital branding package featuring Ontario Tour assets and branding guidelines
The Ontario Provincial Championships must meet the following hosting requirements:
- Offer all Ontario Tour divisions: MPO–60, FPO–60, MA1–3, FA1–3, FA40–70 and MA40–70
- Remit the $3 per-player Ontario Tour fee prior to the event
- Be capable of hosting at least 250 players
- Be sanctioned as a PDGA A-Tier
- Include a minimum of 3 rounds / 54 holes
- Have at least one or more restrooms available on-site at each course
- Display the Elevated Ace Hole branding and notify players about the program and designated hole prior to the event
- Award trophies to the top three amateur finishers and top professional finisher in each division
- Include the ODSA as a primary sponsor in event branding and communications
- Require all participants to be current ODSA members in good standing
- Advertise the event as part of the Ontario Tour on DiscGolfScene and through tournament promotion on social media
- Include Ontario Tour branding on the primary event graphic and in player emails
- Display available Tour-branded assets at the event
- Utilize the provided Tour-branded marking flags where available
- Add Ontario Tour Director Cori Murdock as a staff member on the event’s DiscGolfScene page
