Applications are now live for Ontario Majors or Tour Events
We are currently fielding event hosting bids for the 2026 Ontario Tour as well as our 2026 Ontario Major Events. We ask that Tournament Directors submit their initial application through the application page here. We will be accepting expressions of interest until October 20th, 2025. Bids that are chosen as finalists may be contacted and asked to provide additional information.
Ontario Tour Majors in 2026 will receive:
- OCC Tour Funding (min. $750)
- Provincial Qualifier Status for all eligible divisions (top 3 finishers)
- Provincial Qualifier Patches
- "Elevated Ace Hole" base, course signage and prizing
- Ontario Tour course signage & OB Boards
- Tour branded marking flags
- Tour sponsor prizing
- Fundraising support from the ODSA
Majors must meet the following guidelines:
- Offer all mandatory divisions (MPO-60, FPO-60, MA1-3, FA1-3, FA40-70, MA40-70)
- $3 per player tour fee
- Preference given to at least ONE event per region
- Preference to host 100+ players
- Preference if sanctioned as a B-tier or higher
Ontario Tour Regional Events in 2026 will receive:
- Provincial Qualifier Status for all eligible divisions (top 3 finishers)
- Provincial Qualifier Patches
- "Elevated Ace Hole" band wrap
- Access to Ontario Tour OB Boards
- Tour branded marking flags
- Tour sponsor prizing
- Fundraising support from the ODSA
Regional events must meet the following guidelines:
- Offer at least 3 age protected divisions
- $3 per player tour fee
- Represent at least ONE event per region
- Must be capable of hosting at least 72 players
- Preference if sanctioned as a C-tier or higher
- Minimum of 2 rounds (36 holes)
The Ontario Provincial Championships will receive enhanced support including (and beyond) standard tour event support. Below are some of the additional benefits:
- Minimum $3k in ODSA funding
- ODSA TD support
- All Ontario Tour branded collateral and event/promotional infrastructure
- Tour sponsor prizing
- Fundraising support from the ODSA
The Ontario Provincial Championships must meet the following guidelines:
- Able to host at least 250 players
- Offers all mandatory divisions (MPO-60, FPO-60, MA1-3, FA1-3, FA40-70, MA40-70)
- Is sanctioned as an A-tier (we will help those who wish to sanction after the deadline)
- All participants must be current ODSA members
- All participants must have earned their qualification through the 2026 Ontario Tour
