Dwayne Bereziuk 1963-2016 ... builder, founder, friend
It is with sadness in our hearts that we learned today that Dwayne Bereziuk passed-away Saturday July 9th after his valiant battle with cancer. Know as "Tub" to many, Dwayne was a pillar in the Ontario disc golf community, calling Brantford home. Dwayne was a staple as a player, organizer and builder for our sport. Before passing, Dwayne managed to spearhead the construction of the Paris Disc Golf course in a mere 2 years, leaving part of his legacy for Ontario disc golfers to live on in perpetuity. To add to his legend, Dwayne also won the last tournament he took part in, the 2015 Toronto Maple Leaf in the Advanced Division. We'll remember his friendship, his commitment, and his rollers... and we'll never forget how good it felt to get a smile out of him.
